Thin-film SMD resistors for precise, low-noise measurement and reference circuits
The SMD resistors of the CPH series are designed for circuits where high precision, low noise and a long-term stable characteristic are essential. The NiCr thin-film technology with passivated surface provides very good corrosion resistance and a low-noise construction. Resistance tolerances down to ±0.01% and temperature coefficients down to ±1 ppm/°C enable highly accurate measurement and reference circuits where even small deviations would directly affect measurement accuracy.
The range covers the common SMD case sizes 0603, 0805, 1206 and 2010. Depending on the case size, rated power from 1/16 W up to 1/4 W at 70 °C is available, with working voltages up to 200 V and maximum permissible voltages up to 300 V. The high-power variant CPHH offers increased rated power (depending on case size up to 1/3 W at 70 °C) and higher permissible voltages up to 200 V working voltage and 400 V test voltage while maintaining the same resistance and tolerance range. The resistance range – depending on case size and temperature coefficient – extends from 24.9 Ω up to 300 kΩ. This allows both low-ohmic current and attenuation networks as well as high-ohmic precision voltage dividers to be implemented.
For high long-term stability, the components are designed for typical stress scenarios such as continuous operation at 70 °C, damp heat load, high-temperature storage at 155 °C as well as bending and overload tests.
