Compact overall height and high precision for large forces The KMC100 series is a pancake load cell for compressive forces from 50 kN to 300 kN. It is available in three versions with diameters from 105 to 141 mm and overall heights of 37 mm and 57 mm. Despite the high rated forces, the overall height remains low, making integration into machines and systems easier. Force is introduced centrally via metric threads, with the thread size depending on the selected measuring range: M16 for 50 kN, M32 for 100 kN and 200 kN, and M40 for 300 kN. The nickel-plated steel measuring element is corrosion-protected and equipped with a full Wheatstone strain gauge bridge. Linearity, hysteresis and repeatability are each ±0.03% of full scale. Each KMC100 is supplied with a test report confirming the accuracy of the measurement results. The shielded 6 m connection cable ensures reliable signal transmission, even over longer distances. With protection class IP66, the KMC100 is reliably protected against dust and water jets. Typical applications include presses, test rigs, vehicle scales, large tank scales, and other industrial measurement tasks involving high compressive forces. Compared to many standard pancake load cells, the KMC100 stands out through its combination of high precision, compact design, and robust construction in multiple housing sizes.
