The nickel-plated steel measuring body operates according to the double bending beam principle and is equipped with a full-bridge Wheatstone strain gauge circuit. This proven technology ensures precise and repeatable results. A particular feature of this design is the separation of mounting and force introduction. While the sensor is mounted to a rigid structure using two screws, the force is applied via an M8 threaded hole. This decouples mounting forces from the actual measurement, increasing precision. At the same time, the compact design allows easy integration into various applications. The robust steel measuring body makes the KM801 especially suitable for industrial applications in which high forces must be measured reliably. Typical applications include joining and assembly processes, test benches, and monitoring of mechanical movements in machines and equipment.
