They are based on the bending beam principle and use strain gauges (SG) on an aluminium measuring body. Thanks to the single-point design, they are ideal for platform sizes up to a maximum of 150 × 150 mm, as well as for dosing applications where installation space is limited and reliable force feedback is required. The geometries differ depending on the rated force: the 10 N version, with a length of 45 mm, is particularly small and lightweight (approx. 15 g), while the 50 N version is designed with a longer length of 74 mm and a weight of approx. 40 g. This adaptation enables reliable measurement even at higher forces. Thanks to low hysteresis, high repeatability and a very small corner load error, the sensor provides precise and reproducible results, even when the force is not applied exactly in the centre. Typical applications include platform load cells in non-legal-for-trade weighing, medical dosing pumps, test benches or OEM solutions in industry and research, for example in materials testing or packaging processes.
