Wireless universal transmitter WiMER5

Product overview
WiMER5 is a universal wireless transmitter for optical and magnetic encoders with 90° phase-shift differential square-wave (RS422/TTL) outputs. The device provides a 5 V supply to the encoder, decodes A and B quadrature signals with a high-speed onboard counter, and transmits measurements via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) at up to 30 Hz for real-time monitoring.

Supported hosts
WiMER5 streams readings to iPhone, iPad, Android devices and Windows PCs (Windows requires a USB Bluetooth Low Energy dongle).

Cloud remote reading option
WiMER5 integrates with the MultiGage Cloud platform, a browser-based IoT service for remote data tracking. By connecting BLE gauges to a MultiGage Cloud Gateway you can view live readings and historical data from anywhere via a web browser. MultiGage Cloud supports multi-sensor connectivity, customizable dashboards, alerts, reading history and analytics (subscription required).

Software

• iOS — MultiGage Reader for iPad/iPhone: connect to multiple devices and read or record measurements wirelessly. Companion Apple Watch app available for quick viewing and start/stop control.
• Android — MultiGage Android: connect to multiple devices and read or record measurements wirelessly on Android devices.
• Windows — MultiGage Windows: streams readings from multiple devices to any Windows PC (requires USB BLE dongle for PC).
• MultiGage Cloud — browser-based cloud service to connect Bluetooth wireless sensors to the Internet for remote monitoring and analytics.
