Overview
Free‑fall fire valves for generator sets and plant rooms, designed for both fuel shut‑off (cut‑off) and fuel dump applications. Activation occurs by melting of a fusible link or via optional devices such as manual quick release, panic buttons, SQR (electrical) actuation, or main fire alarm / BMS interface.

Operation & linkage
The valves use a free‑fall linkage (dead weight / drop arm) that allows the weight to gain momentum before releasing the valve lever, ensuring a rapid and reliable mechanical actuation.

Design & maintenance
Lubricated plug valve design selected for reliable sealing and simplified maintenance compared with ball valves. Recommended maintenance: test and lubricate three times per year.

• Lubricant: Type 90 for 4", 5", 6" valves; Type 44 for valves under 4".
