Product Overview
The tadpole (bulb-and-tail) gasket combines an Inconel wire stocking, a ceramic fabric cover and a ceramic core to deliver a compressible sealing bulb with enhanced thermal and mechanical resistance. It is designed for high-temperature industrial enclosures such as furnace doors, kilns and heat‑treatment equipment, where abrasion protection and thermal stability are required.

How It Seals & Installation
The bulb is positioned along the sealing perimeter and the tail is fixed to the door, frame or retaining structure. Closing the mating panel compresses the bulb to form the seal; the rounded bulb profile distributes compression across the contact surface. Typical installation steps:

• Position the bulb along the required sealing path.
• Align the mounting tail with the attachment surface.
• Secure the tail using the specified fastener or retention method.
• Close the door or panel to establish bulb compression.
• Check that the gasket is correctly compressed and not mechanically restricted.
