Overview
The BSTFLEX Ceramic Fabric Cover Ceramic Core Tadpole Gasket is a bulb-and-tail sealing profile engineered for high-temperature doors, inspection ports and access panels on furnaces, kilns, ovens and thermal processing equipment. The ceramic fabric outer cover resists prolonged thermal exposure while the internal ceramic core preserves the bulb profile and compression behavior. The integrated mounting tail enables secure attachment to doors, frames or retaining channels.

How it Works
The tadpole design combines a compressible bulb that seals against the mating face and a flat tail for mechanical attachment. On door closure the bulb compresses to close gaps and limit leakage of heat, gases, dust and process media. The profile tolerates component movement and surface irregularities, making it suitable for frequently cycled thermal doors and access panels.

Ceramic fabric covers are specified where prolonged radiant or convective heat exposure would degrade organic coverings.
