Product descriptionThe OMVE HT226 is a HTST/UHT scraped-surface heat exchanger (SSHE) pilot system designed for continuous processing of high-viscosity products and products containing large particles. The HT226 gives R&D departments a flexible, reliable unit to mimic full-scale production operations, supporting scale-up, formulation development, product optimization, shelf-life testing and organoleptic analysis.
Design and hygienic featuresThe OMVE SSHE features a hygienic design for effective CIP and minimal contamination during processing. Barrels are removable for manual cleaning. With special bearings and high-pressure seals the SSHE withstands pressures up to 10 bar, making it suitable for very viscous products and for simulating industrial high-pressure processes.
