Product overview
The OA-EDGE T safety sensor for automatic swing doors uses OPTEX Active Infrared Triangulation technology to detect obstacles and prevent collisions while allowing comfortable passage. Its modular design enables scalable coverage according to door width and required safety level.

Design
Very slim profile to fit a wide range of swing door frames. Available in silver or black profile with a black lens. Standard lengths: 340 mm, 700 mm, 900 mm, 1200 mm.

Installation
Main and secondary modules click into the profile for straightforward mounting. Secondary modules connect to the master module via a communication cable with connector. An alternative power supply connector on the master module enables flexible and faster installation.

Safety
Each module provides a wide detection area to protect the door zone and prevent the door leaf from striking a person or object. The OA-EDGE T is TÜV approved and compliant with EN 16005.

Module configuration
The sensor is assembled from one master module and up to three secondary modules depending on door width and required safety level. Maximum configuration: 4 sensor modules + 2 LED modules. Minimum configuration: 1 main module + 1 LED module.

Quick adjustment & operation
Settings are made with DIP switches and a levelling screw. Pressing the function switch starts initialization and the learning cycle. Sensor status is indicated by an LED.
