GI40 is a passive piezoelectric acoustic emission sensor with built-in 40dB28V preamplifier. And 15kHz-70kHz bandwidth makes it suitable for detecting low frequency acoustic emission signals. GI40 is a passive piezoelectric acoustic emission sensor with integral preamplifier, it does not need to be connected to the additional preamplifier, thus simplifying the wiring work. The low frequency response makes it suited for monitoring large objects like concrete, steel structures and geologic structures. It also could be used for monitoring leakage and corrosion of storage tanks or valves and for detecting partial discharge.
