Product overviewGH150/2 is a narrowband high-temperature acoustic emission (AE) sensor with a 150 kHz resonant frequency and usable bandwidth from 60 kHz to 400 kHz. It is designed for structural health monitoring and NDT in industrial environments up to 170°C. The sensor features a SUS-304 stainless steel housing, a ceramic sensing face and an integral 1.5 m high-temperature cable terminated by a BNC connector.

LimitationsGH150/2 is not recommended for continuous exposure above 170°C. For higher temperatures select a higher-temperature AE sensor or use a waveguide-based installation. In environments with strong low-frequency vibration, heavy flow noise or long propagation distances, consider attenuation, background noise and material coupling when selecting the sensor.
Installation Notes- Clean and prepare the mounting surface before installation
- Use a high-temperature couplant suited to the actual surface temperature
- Ensure stable contact and appropriate hold-down pressure on the sensor face
- Avoid cable tension, sharp bends and direct mechanical impact on the integral cable
- Verify channel response and sensor coupling before testing or long-term monitoring
