DescriptionGH150/1 (Magnetic) is a high-temperature acoustic emission (AE) sensor developed for structural monitoring and non-destructive testing (NDT) in harsh industrial environments up to 350°C. It provides a 170 kHz resonant frequency, stainless/Invar metal contact surfaces, IP68 protection, an integral BNC cable and magnetic or clamp mounting options. The unit features a 20 cm heat-resistant metal tube and a 3 m cable with a bottom magnetic mount suited to temporary testing, field inspection and monitoring of hot metallic structures.

Installation notesProper installation is important for repeatable AE signal detection, especially at high temperatures. Recommended practices include:
- Clean the mounting surface before installation
- Confirm the actual surface temperature is within the sensor working range
- Use magnetic mounting only when holding force is sufficient for surface temperature and vibration conditions
- For long-term mechanical stability, consider custom clamp, cable tie or free-mounted rod instead of magnetic mounting
- Avoid direct cable tension, sharp bending or mechanical impact near the sensor
- Verify the channel response before formal testing or long-term monitoring

NotesThis sensor is NOT recommended for mounting positions continuously above 350°C. For higher-temperature surfaces, consider waveguide-based installation or a special high-temperature sensor solution. For long-term magnetic installations at very high temperature, check surface temperature, magnetic holding force, vibration, cable routing and mounting direction before deployment.
