OverviewThe AFNOR Viscosity Flow Cup NF T30-014 provides a repeatable, flow-time method to assess kinematic viscosity of paints, inks, varnishes and related liquid coatings. Flow through a calibrated orifice yields a relative measurement that can be converted to centistokes (cSt) using standard conversion procedures or a viscosity calculator.
Materials and constructionManufactured from high-grade aluminium alloy. Orifices are stainless steel where specified. Units are supplied verified and can be checked using certified standard oils (UKAS/ISO 17025 where required) to confirm conformity and measurement consistency.
Product variants- AFNOR Flow Cup − 2.5 mm (NF T30-014) — Order code RL-A-FC-AFNOR/2.5 — Viscosity range 5–140 cSt — Flow times 30–100 s
- AFNOR Flow Cup − 4 mm (NF T30-014) — Order code RL-A-FC-AFNOR/4 — Viscosity range 50–1100 cSt — Flow times 30–100 s
- AFNOR Flow Cup − 6 mm (NF T30-014) — Order code RL-A-FC-AFNOR/6 — Viscosity range 510–5100 cSt — Flow times 30–100 s
- AFNOR Flow Cup − 8 mm (NF T30-014) — Order code RL-A-FC-AFNOR/8 — Viscosity range 700–11500 cSt — Flow times 30–100 s
Additional informationSelection of orifice diameter determines the applicable viscosity range. Typical applications include process control, quality control and formulation for paints, coatings, printing inks and varnishes where a simple, repeatable flow-time measurement is required.
