GW22B is a single-arm vertical pantograph outdoor high-voltage AC disconnector intended for substation isolation and line switching. Rated voltage options include 126, 145, 252, 363, 420 and 550 kV. Transmission components and balance springs are enclosed within current-carrying tubes to reduce environmental exposure and simplify maintenance.

• Mechanical design — Single-arm folding pantograph with compact linkage mechanism and adjustable base for straightforward assembly and alignment.
• Conductive components — High-conductivity aluminum alloy profiles provide strong electrical performance, high mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. Folding joints use flexible shunts instead of sliding contacts to ensure reliable current transfer and reduce maintenance needs.
• Suspended static contact — Static contact suspended by a pure-aluminum stranded-wire ring to increase current capacity; triangular steel-cable suspension enables easy adjustment and minimizes vertical displacement.
• Clamp-type (scissor) contact — Moving contact blade works with an external compression spring to maintain consistent contact pressure; the blade lower end connects via flexible shunts, eliminating movable contact points and preventing overheating from poor connections.
