Air cannon AIRCHOC®

PROBLEM:
The sand storage silo (grain size 04) experienced clogging that prevented material discharge. Operators were probing the silo manually, exposing them to accident risk from the moving skip that transfers material to the hopper.

SOLUTION:

• Installation of AIRCHOC® air cannon ACW51010SD (50 L) in wireless version
• Extended blowpipe and sleeve to position the AIRCHOC® outside the process area
• Manual triggering of the AIRCHOC® via remote control from the control room

RESULT:
Clogging eliminated and operator safety improved thanks to external installation and remote activation.
