Corrosion-free hydrocyclone for inorganic solid separation. Up to 95% efficiency for gravel particles from 300 to 100 microns. Ideal as a pre-filter for screen, disc, or gravel systems.
The HD-P model from STF Filters is a hydrocyclone designed for separating suspended inorganic solids using centrifugal force. Its horizontal, compact structure enables efficient in-line installation, functioning as a pre-filter for screen, disc, or gravel filtration systems. Made from glass-fibre reinforced polyamide, it offers a fully corrosion-free solution, ideal for demanding conditions. The tangential water inlet creates a spiral flow that forces particles against the walls and into the lower collector, which is manually cleaned—automation optional. The HD-P achieves up to 95% separation efficiency for gravel particles from 300 to 100 microns, supporting up to 8 bar pressure and 60°C fluid temperature. Available with 2", 3", and 4" connections, it handles flows from 10 to 110 m³/h. Its low maintenance and robust performance make it a reliable choice for agricultural, industrial, and well-outlet applications.
Hydrocyclone for efficient solids separation
The HD-P is designed to work as a pre-filter in screen, disc, or gravel filtration systems, enhancing overall system protection and performance.
Thanks to its centrifugal effect, it separates up to 95% of inorganic particles ranging from 300 to 100 microns, preventing solid build-up in downstream stages.
