Self-cleaning suction strainer, ideal for pump protection in reservoirs, rivers or canals. Large stainless steel screen and carbon steel body with epoxy-polyester coating ensure durability and efficiency.
STF’s FS filters are self-cleaning suction filters designed to be installed at pump intakes, submerged in reservoirs, rivers, canals, or lakes. Their main function is to prevent solid particles from entering hydraulic systems, thus avoiding damage and blockages. These units stand out for their large screen surface —up to 21,270 cm²— allowing them to handle high flow rates, up to 1200 m³/h, with low head loss.
The cleaning process is fully automatic, activated by the system’s own hydraulic pressure, with no need for an external power supply, making them ideal for isolated or rural installations. They are built from carbon steel with kiln-polymerized epoxy-polyester coating, and the screen is made of AISI-304 or AISI-316 stainless steel, ensuring excellent mechanical and corrosion resistance.
Available in diameters from DN100 to DN400, with a filtration grade of 2500 µm, FS filters adapt to various pump configurations. Their submersible, robust, and easy-to-install design ensures long-lasting, efficient performance with minimal maintenance. Ideal for agricultural, industrial, and municipal water supply applications.
