Overview
ELO-231 and K11-231 sprinklers are automatic frangible-bulb sprinklers designed for storage occupancies. Available in upright and pendent orientations, they produce a hemispherical water distribution pattern. K11-231 models (including K11-231B and K11-231FRB) replace the upright standard and quick response ELO-231B and ELO-231FRB models for improved application in high-density storage. Both families feature an extra-large orifice sized for storage hazards and are engineered to control high-challenge fires at relatively low hydraulic pressures. Adding a guard and shield converts an ELO-231 or K11-231 into an intermediate level version.
