Our 2:1 Heat Shrink Tubing is manufactured using a high quality Polyolefin Thermoplastic which is what gives this product its famous shrink to fit properties when heat is applied. Shrinking down at a ratio of 2:1 this type of product is recommended for use with cables and wires, to connect or repair frayed connections with ease. Along with its electrical related uses heatshrink can be employed for many general uses such as to increase the grip experienced on a metal bar, acting as a heat to fit grip. Coming in many different lengths and diameters, it is important to note the size once shrunk to ensure that you have the right size for your requirements. This listing is for all diameters of Heatshrink Tubing greater than 25.4mm, although we do offer smaller sizing for diameters below this value, along with different shrinking ratios (available here). Heat Shrink is easily applied by simply heating near the sleeve whilst on the application.
