Our range of Vent Plugs are manufactured from a heat stabilised Nylon 6/6 and are complete with a UL94V-2 flammability rating. Nylon or 'Plastic Vent Plugs' as they can be referred to, are offered either with or without a pre-installed Polyurethane filter that is capable of filtering particles of 30 micron or larger, limiting the ingress of contaminating elements. Typically a Vent Plugs is installed to allow the passage of air for both ventilation or heat dissipation purposes such as within a server cabinet, and are easily installed by hand thanks to its lock-in design. Each size that we offer comes with a thin head that can sit flush to your application, with an approximate thickness of just 1.6mm (may vary according to size). We stock these Vent Plugs in a wide variety of hole sizes between 12.7mm (1/2") and 101.6mm (4") to suit most industry requirements (for filtered versions please see -F part numbers).
