Product overviewFerrite rod and coil assemblies WL1210 are precision magnetic components combining a ferrite rod core and enameled copper winding. They provide increased inductance in a compact footprint and are designed for stable inductance, low losses and reliable high-frequency behaviour in industrial and RF applications.
Applications- RF receivers and AM antennas
- Wireless communication modules and IoT devices
- Sensors and detection equipment for industrial automation
- Control and signal transmission systems
- Electromagnetic filtering and EMI suppression circuits
- Automotive electronics and selected medical devices
Customization- Ferrite material selection (NiZn, MnZn, other grades per frequency)
- Rod dimensions: length and diameter adapted to installation space
- Wire diameter and enamel type (AWG options available)
- Number of turns and winding structure (single-layer, sectional)
- Encapsulation/coating: varnish, epoxy or custom coatings
- Mounting and terminal options: through-foot, custom fixation
- Electrical parameter tuning: inductance, tolerance, rated current, target frequency
Features- High magnetic permeability and compact construction
- Stable inductance and low power loss within target frequency range
- Good electromagnetic coupling and improved signal sensitivity
- Wide operating frequency (kHz to MHz, design dependent)
- Temperature-stable when specified with appropriate ferrite grade and protection
Advantages / Limitations- Advantages: higher inductance than comparable air-core coils for the same footprint, improved signal reception, effective EMI reduction and flexible customization for production.
- Limitations: ferrite is brittle and requires mechanical protection; core saturation at very high power and wrong ferrite grade selection can degrade performance.
