Product OverviewThe AS-C6 EtherCAT branch switch converts simple linear topologies into multi-level star and tree topologies for complex on-site control architectures. It provides multiple downstream outputs and isolates branch disruptions so that a device failure, plug-in or plug-out on one branch does not interrupt other branches.
Product Features- 1 IN, 5 OUT: IN1 is the EtherCAT input port connected to the upstream EtherCAT master.
- OUT2–OUT6 are EtherCAT output ports for downstream EtherCAT slave devices.
- Output port priority: OUT2 > OUT3 > OUT4 > OUT5 > OUT6. Slave devices on a higher-priority branch take precedence over devices on lower-priority branches when implementing multi-level topologies.
