Overview
Compatible with all XL5E functions, the LC5E series operates as an EtherCAT slave to interact with the master station. It supports Ethernet communication, EtherCAT bus, right-side expansion modules and a left-side ED module. High-speed communication plus flexible configuration and expansion address diverse application scenarios and improve overall system efficiency.

Seamless synchronization — flexible and reliable
EtherCAT-based synchronized communication and modular expansion enable coordinated control across distributed devices, improving timing accuracy and system determinism.

High-speed, stable data transmission
Data exchange between master and slave is handled via the EtherCAT bus, supporting a maximum input/output PDO size of 1280 bytes. This accelerates system response and enhances control precision for integration, data acquisition and processing tasks.

Simplified data interaction and configuration
Interface-based configuration enables fast master/slave data interaction without complex instruction programming. The master station I/O mapping interface reads addresses configured by the slave and displays the mapping relationship between master and slave addresses for intuitive setup.

Distributed control to reduce master load
The slave PLC can collect distributed system data (temperature, pressure, flow, etc.) and forward it to the master PLC or upper-level system for processing, distributing control tasks and lowering CPU load on the master station.

One-stop networking — flexible and compatible
Standard RJ45 Ethernet port provides high-speed communication. Supports multiple protocols: Modbus-TCP, Modbus-RTU/ASCII, TCP/IP. Serial communication includes 1 × RS232 and 1 × RS485. Flexible topology supports linear and star wiring.

Local expansion capability
LC5E-32T4 supports expansion of up to 16 right expansion modules and 1 left ED module, covering I/O, analog, temperature, weighing and other module types to meet multi-dimensional control requirements.
