OverviewThe Pipeline High-Shear Dispersing Emulsifier is a pipeline-mounted high-shear mixer designed to rapidly, evenly and efficiently disperse and emulsify one phase into another for continuous processing. It uses a high-speed rotor-stator arrangement to subject materials to intense mechanical shear, centrifugal forces, collision and tearing actions to produce fine, stable dispersions and emulsions.
How it worksThe rotor rotates at high speed, creating high tangential velocity and frequent mechanical action. Material passing through the narrow gap between stator and rotor is exposed to mechanical and fluid shear, centrifugal forces, compression, collision and tearing, and high-velocity flow, resulting in instantaneous dispersion and fine emulsification with consistent product quality.
