IdentiQuik Smart Couplings™ with RFID Technology
IdentiQuik Smart Couplings™ from Colder Products combine the power and control of RFID and wireless ID technologies with the reliability and ease-of-use of Colder’s quick disconnect couplings. Their breakthrough design enables users to freely exchange data between two halves of a coupling at the time of connection. With Colder’s IdentiQuik Couplings, companies can achieve a new level of automation, safety and quality in their critical processes.
In its current configuration, the insert portion of the IdentiQuik Coupling contains a radio frequency identification tag that is programmed with unique product data, such as stocking history, package size, date code, or product characteristics. Prior to connection, the body portion of the coupling reads the tag and communicates with a wide variety of devices such as computers and programmable logic controllers using standard data interfaces. Examples include: recalibrating operating parameters base on the manufacturing lot of the consumable; locking out expired product; or preventing re-use of a single-use item.
The benefits of Colder’s IdentiQuik Smart Couplings include:
•Identify misconnections
•Save time
•Prolong equipment life
•Brand protection

With the full faced flanges out of PE 100, AGRU offers a perfect joining possibility to other materials.
Since a lot of fitting-accessories (slide valves, flaps or subterranean hydrants) are manufactured out of gray cast iron with spheroidal graphite, these full faced flanges were developed. By using them an unproblematic integration of other materials into a piping system out of polyethylene is possible. The full faced flanges are available in the dimensions 90, 110, 125, 160 as well as 180 and in the dimensioning SDR 11.
The constructive design of the full faced flange allows a permanent leak-proof connection. The hole pattern is in accordance with DIN 2501,
sheet 1. The long welding ends allow butt welding as well as electro-fusion.
A permanent stability as regards form and pressure is ensured by the use of PE 100 material and the integrated steel core.

Nor-Cal's ASA flanges are manufactured from specially treated 304 stainless steel. These flanges mate with standard 150 lb. ASA flanges or 150 ANSI flanges. They are available from stock for standard tube sizes from two to 12 inches. Larger sizes are available upon request. Nuts and bolts are used to apply pressure between the mating flanges and a seal is effected when a Viton-A® O-ring is compressed. ASA flanges can be baked to 204°C and have a vacuum range of up to 10-8 Torr. Besides being sold separately, they are available as standards on nipples, adapters, tees, crosses, traps, elbows and valves.

|
The flanges are the removable rigid connection by far more used, either for pipes or other mechanical items.
OMT manufacture a variety of forged types of flanges, as steel SAE flange, with threads GAS and NPT, weld in and weld on, standard or 90°.

The Rotary Joint device allows electrical and pneumatic lines from the robot to feed through to the tool — keeping air and electrical lines on the robot from twisting. The Rotary Joint has two components: fixed and rotating. The rotating component consists of the robot adaptor, tool adaptor, and a central connecting core. The fixed component is a central ring which is held stationary by a torque rod attached to a fixed part of the robot arm.
Lines are attached between the fixed component and your robot controller. As the robot moves, the fixed lines do not twist. Advanced slip ring technology is used to pass fixed lines to the rotating component and then to your tool— so as your robot moves, electrical signals and pneumatic pressure pass from the robot to the tool preventing the lines from twisting. With many different sizes, this device can be easily integrated onto almost any robot.

Duff-Norton manufactures rotary unions, rotary joints, rotating joints and offers a line of 32 series ranging up to 10,000 psi and up to 5000 RPM. Rotary Union® is Duff-Nortons registered trademark for rotating joints.
Rotating joints are used to transfer fluids from a stationary supply to a rotating component, i.e., a drum or roll.
They are used in process industries like paper, printing, rubber and plastics, textile and chemical; on cranes, on machine tools and in a host of other applications. They are used to provide heating or cooling media like steam, hot oil, water or coolant to control the surface temperature of a drum or roll, to transfer air or hydraulic fluid to moving components or to add fluids to mixers while in motion.
Duff-Norton has traditionally served the markets where it supplies its general purpose joints, such as the rubber and plastics industries, and in the textile market it supplies its 8000T, a joint designed especially for the textile industry. The single largest user industry of rotating joints worldwide is the pulp and paper industry, which requires large quantities of joints for steam, water and hot oil. The steam applications (i.e., dryer cans) are most prevalent in paper mills.

MID has developed a new variable geometry coupling, which can swivel through 360 degrees: the DynaVariacor®. This internationally patented system provides in particular complete flexibility for use with all types of pneumatic tools and appliances.
The coupling is robust, light and compact; it reduces wear and avoids coiling of the feed hose. This coupling enables increased precision of movement of the tool by reducing the handling force required by the user, due to the relative rigidity of the feed pipes. Operator comfort is improved. The DynaVariacor® products have useful features: the interior cross-section of the coupling remains constant at all angles, so pressure loss is minimised and flow rates are naturally optimum.
The system is available in several sizes and fittings for a variety of uses: small industrial hand tools such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills, screw guns and riveting machines as well as equipment of larger size and power such as nail guns, staplers, disc sanders, pneumatic drills, compacting machines and special equipment.

Rotary Systems’ new line of “029” series work-holding unions are available in two, four and six passage models. These unions are designed with #4 SAE threads with both radial and axial feeds on the rotor shaft for a choice in mounting your fittings.
The union utilizes a hardened and ground shaft, impregnated Teflon seals and dual radial ball bearings to eliminate seal loading which results in longer life of the union.
These unions are designed for high pressure and moderate speed applications. They are ideal for rotating pallet changers and rotary indexing table applications. Multiple medias can be passed through the union without cross comtamination between passages.
See our 029 series to view each size.
