Product descriptionWEH® ultra-high-pressure fittings ensure leak-free coupling of tube components. The cone-and-thread fittings provide a simple and reliable connection system. All fittings are delivered complete with matching ferrules and pressure screws. The high-pressure fittings are metal-sealing and can be reassembled multiple times. They are suitable for pressure ranges up to 10,000 bar / 150,000 psi and for various media of Fluid Group 2 according to the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU, such as air, water and hydraulic oil. Suitable for tube outside diameters commonly used on the market: 1/4”, 3/8” and 9/16”. Fittings are available with both metric and imperial threads.
Application and design detailsFor pressure levels 2,500 bar (35,000 psi) and 4,200 bar (60,000 psi) the connection is made with a 58° external cone on the tube end into a 60° internal cone in the fitting. For 7,000 bar and 10,000 bar we offer special high-density fittings with a 120° internal cone; the tube end is prepared with a 116° external cone. WEH provides all necessary tools for forming and reworking the external cone on tube ends and for repair of internal cones. The cross fitting has four identical ports and is available with common high-pressure connections as listed below. Two diagonally arranged mounting holes are provided. The identical hole pattern of elbow, T- and cross fittings simplifies later modifications and expansions of the piping system. Ferrules and pressure screws are preassembled on all ports. Connection geometry: High Pressure Fitting 60° Cone & Thread. Special designs with different thread types or for other pressure ranges are available on request. Special materials for demanding media or operating conditions are available on request.
Features- Special sealing contours for leak-free connection
- Easy modification/replacement thanks to identical sizes of cross, T and elbow fittings
- Flow-optimized: fitting nominal bore is larger than the tube bore
- Diagonally arranged mounting holes
- Pressure-resistant up to 10,000 bar / 150,000 psi
