Product description
The WEH® ultra-high-pressure relief valves protect fluid systems by opening at a preset set pressure and discharging excess medium via an outlet (B2). While closed, the valve remains seated by an internal spring until the set pressure is reached. Sealing is provided by a replaceable metallic seat. Delivery includes pressure rings and pressure screws for the corresponding HP 60° Cone & Thread tube connections.

Ordering and setting notes
The customer must specify the required set pressure when ordering. A tolerance of ±100 bar applies. WEH sets the valve at room temperature and tests tightness and release behaviour; the set screw is then sealed. Actual set pressure can vary due to temperature changes or after long intervals between actuations.

Application
WEH® relief valves are designed for high-pressure hydraulic applications. Alternative versions are available for other media and uses. WEH® relief valves VRA-1-S1 are not classified as safety valves or safety accessories under the Pressure Equipment Directive 2014/68/EU or the ASME Boiler & Pressure Vessel Code.
