Description
The WEH® ultra high-pressure fittings ensure leak-free connections for tube components. The cone-and-thread system provides a simple and reliable mechanical joint. Fittings are delivered complete with matching assembly parts. These high-pressure fittings achieve metallic sealing and can be reassembled multiple times. Suitable for pressure ratings up to 10,000 bar / 150,000 psi (family range). The fittings are ready for media of Fluid Group 2 (according to DGR 2014/68/EU) such as air, water and hydraulic oil. Available for standard tube sizes 1/4”, 3/8” and 9/16”; fittings are offered with both metric and imperial threads.
For pressure ratings 2,500 bar (35,000 psi) and 4,200 bar (60,000 psi) the connection uses a 58° external cone at the tube end mating into a 60° internal cone in the fitting. For the 7,000 bar and 10,000 bar ranges, we offer special high-seal fittings with a 120° internal cone and a 116° external cone on the tube end.
WEH supplies all necessary tools for applying and reworking the external cone on tube ends and for refurbishing internal cones. The straight connection features two identical ends and is available in all common high-pressure sizes. Pressure rings and pressure screws are preassembled on all ends. Special versions with different thread types, pressure ranges or special materials for demanding media or operating conditions are available on request.
