Description

Description
WEH® ultra-high-pressure straight fittings provide a leak-free connection for pipe components. The cone-and-thread system is a simple, reliable mechanical joining method. All fittings are supplied complete with matching ferrules and pressure screws.

These high-pressure fittings are metal-sealing and can be reassembled multiple times. They are rated for pressure classes up to 10,000 bar / 150,000 psi and are suitable for media of Fluid Group 2 according to PED 2014/68/EU (e.g. air, water, hydraulic oil). Compatible with common pipe outer diameters: 1/4", 3/8" and 9/16". Versions with metric or imperial threads are available.

For pressure classes 2,500 bar (35,000 psi) and 4,200 bar (60,000 psi), the connection uses a 58° external cone on the tube end into a 60° internal cone in the fitting.

For 7,000 bar and 10,000 bar classes we offer high-density fittings with a 120° internal cone; the tube end is formed with a 116° external cone.

WEH supplies all necessary tools for forming and reworking the external cone on tube ends and for repair of internal cones.

Straight connection with two identical ends, available in all common high-pressure sizes. Ferrules and pressure screws are pre-assembled on all ends. Connection geometry: High Pressure Fittings 60° Cone & Thread.

Special versions with different thread types, adapted pressure ranges or special materials for demanding media/conditions are available on request.

Features
  • Special sealing contours for leak-free connections
  • Flow-optimized: fitting nominal bore is larger than the pipe bore
  • Easy replacement/interchange due to identical sizes of cross, T and elbow fittings
  • Pressure rated up to 10,000 bar / 150,000 psi
