Nor-Cal's ASA flanges are manufactured from specially treated 304 stainless steel. These flanges mate with standard 150 lb. ASA flanges or 150 ANSI flanges. They are available from stock for standard tube sizes from two to 12 inches. Larger sizes are available upon request. Nuts and bolts are used to apply pressure between the mating flanges and a seal is effected when a Viton-A® O-ring is compressed. ASA flanges can be baked to 204°C and have a vacuum range of up to 10-8 Torr. Besides being sold separately, they are available as standards on nipples, adapters, tees, crosses, traps, elbows and valves.

The 3 passage rotary union pictured is designed for a large crane application. The union is designed with high pressure seals and large bearings for the rugged environment that the union is exposed too. The large flange is welded onto the housing for mounting purposes. A very large slip ring is mounted on the back of the union for electrical power. The union is painted to protect it from the environment.

The flexible cuffs QuickFlex are used without the processes for powders or granulated. They allow d%u2019isoler mechanically equipment the ones compared to the others. Ex: to isolate a vibrating sifter compared to his screw from proportioning.
QuickFlex consist of:
- 2 rigid pipes to weld onto the 2 parts of the process having to receive the cuff. These pipes are equipped with patented sections, adapted to the QuickFlex cuff.
- 1 flexible pipe whose two ends are equipped with bands d%u2019acier with spring moulded in l%u2019élastomère of the cuff. The installation of the cuff is done in a very simple way, by deforming the band d%u2019acier with spring in order to l%u2019insérer in the rigid pipes. The original shape of the section ensures then a perfect sealing of the cuff.
The assembly is done without tool in less than 20 seconds. One thus eliminates the risks to be wounded with screwdrivers during tightening from the traditional collars. Moreover the sleeve is adapted perfectly to the pipe.
No zone of retention n%u2019exist enters the flexible cuff and the pipe.
The system is tight with the emissions of dust. It resists an explosion of dust.
From its design, the phenomena of shearing of the cuff by the collar are eliminated.

The core of the Larox pinch valve is the elastic sleeve, which is the only part in contact with the medium. The full bore sleeve integrates the valve to the pipeline. This full bore design eliminates turbulence and minimizes pressure losses. Technologically advanced Larox sleeves guarantee high wear and corrosion resistance, a trouble free operation, and extended lifetime. Our sleeves are 100% tight. Larox sleeves are handmade layer by layer in a quality process covered by ISO 9001:2000. The standard sleeve design consists of three sets of layers: the inner layer, the reinforcement layer and the outer layer. The inner layer, which is the only part in contact with the medium, is resistant to wear and chemicals.
The reinforcement layer gives the sleeve its pressure retaining capability. The operating pressure of the sleeve determines the reinforcement fabric to be used in this layer.
The outer layer protects the sleeve from the external process environment.
All standard Larox sleeves are equipped with opening tags to ensure full valve opening in all conditions. Pinch valves are often applied in aggressive, abrasive and corrosive media types, or in high-pressure applications. To cover a wider range of applications, our R&D has developed several sleeve materials and constructions to meet these industry specific needs. The high-grade Larox sleeve materials range from wear resistant styrene butadiene to numerous other elastomers and rubber compounds. These materials are highly resistant to abrasive and corrosive slurries, powders and granular substances. By introducing a HNBR, hydrogenated nitrile sleeve material, Larox sleeves can now handle temperatures up to 160°C.

Parker Instrumentation has launched a range of 10,000PSI-rated (689bar) instrument pipe fittings. The range provides instrumentation and piping engineers with quality components for interconnecting instrument-grade piping in the growing number of high pressure applications, such as those found in deep water oil and gas exploration and production.
Parker's High Pressure Instrument Pipe Fittings are available in numerous forms including straight, elbow, tee and cross shapes, and support male and female NPT (National Pipe Taper) thread sizes from 1/8 up to 1 inch. The fittings are fabricated from 316L grade stainless steel as standard, with other materials available as options.
To support quality procedures, HCT (heat code traceability) identification codes are provided as standard. Parker will also provide NACE compliance information for the components, on request.
