Style 360 Repair Clamp
The Dresser® Style 360® repair clamp offers simplicity and ease of installation. Just wrap the clamp around the pipe, drop the bolts in place and tighten. It's that simple! Moreover, special one-inch long nuts allow the use of a standard deep socket wrench for complete tightening. In the popular 7.5 inch clamp width, there is also a third nut so
the middle nut can be used to pre-tighten the clamp.
Additionally, the smaller sized clamps feature a flexible band which means less holding force is required while tightening.
With the "360" clamp you can repair holes, breaks and splits in the pipeline. You can use it where pipe ends are separated, or where ends are deflected up to 4 degrees or 1/8 inch. Or you can join two pipes with a variation of 1/4 inch outside diameter.
Clamp features include a tapered gasket with a gridded design and the spanner is molded flush with the gasket to prevent "hang up." The "360" has a stainless band, lugs of rugged ductile iron and bolts of corrosion-resistant Dresserloy.

A rotating union must be capable of containing high pressures while
rotating at very high speeds.Smooth, easy rotation can only be
achieved by exactly mating the seal faces to minimize friction.
Precision and tight tolerances are critical in the micro lapping of sea
faces. All Deublin seals are micro lapped to an optical flatness within
2 light bands or 0.000023”utilizing proprietary lapping machinery
and compounds. This level of precision is essential for dependable
leak-proof operation.
Housings are machined on multi-axis twin-spindle lathes to obtain the
necessary part-to-part precision.Rotors and other parts are turned
on automatic bar machines to ensure true-running rotating unions
without any wobble. This assures extended service life.

The new BreakAway coupling from Colder Products Company provides safe and easy fluid transfer and protection from costly product loss and equipment damage. While heavy duty industrial versions of break-away couplings exist, there have been few options available for low pressure applications in plastic materials. These high quality, leak-free connectors allow the user to break the connection without depressing a latching mechanism for rapid, automatic disconnection when needed.
There is an increasing use of personal cooling systems across numerous markets. In some applications like automotive racing, a break-away coupling is mandatory. In other applications, it is an added convenience such as cooling vests for police officers, athletes or soldiers who may need to move quickly, and can't be tethered to a cooling device.
Colder's BreakAway couplings are available in acetal with Buna-N o-rings, 316 stainless steel valve springs, and automatic shutoff capabilities. Available in in-line and panel mount styles with 1/4" and 3/8" hose barb terminations, the coupling's maximum pressure rating is 20 psi (1.4 bar) and the temperature range is 0°F to 150°F (-18°C to 66°C).

The Innomatec connec ® Quick Connector System closes pipes, connecting pieces, tubes, drill holes, outer threads, inner threads and all types of cylindrical bodies, but it can also connect you to a desired circulation system. Oval, rough and cast surfaces along with high tolerances samples are radially sealed.
The innomatec connec ® Quick Connector System can be loaded with a sample manually or with an automatic tool. The Quick Connection is pneumatically activated with a pressurized air system. Sealing occurs with an elastic rubber washer. The system is filled or sealed through the tested connection. After the test is complete, the test connection is depressurized, the sealing ring relaxes, and the connection can be removed. Whether the connection must be armed with a sliding barrier depends on diameter, working pressure, and surface properties (oiled, etc.).
The innomatec connec ® Quick Connector System has an excellent degree of sealing (and is “helium-proof”). The standard lives of the sealing rubber washers are appropriated depending on routine aptitude. The change in the sealing rubber washers can be very easy and does not necessitate the use of tools.
There are a number of special inplementations for specific uses with motion limitation, sliding barriers, support hulls for specific environmental conditions. For specific utilizations, the connection measurements and individual parts can be adjusted to the task. We welcome any of your questions. Please use our checklist for this purpose.

Duff-Norton manufactures rotary unions, rotary joints, rotating joints and offers a line of 32 series ranging up to 10,000 psi and up to 5000 RPM. Rotary Union® is Duff-Norton%u2019s registered trademark for rotating joints.
Rotating joints are used to transfer fluids from a stationary supply to a rotating component, i.e., a drum or roll.
They are used in process industries like paper, printing, rubber and plastics, textile and chemical; on cranes, on machine tools and in a host of other applications. They are used to provide heating or cooling media like steam, hot oil, water or coolant to control the surface temperature of a drum or roll, to transfer air or hydraulic fluid to moving components or to add fluids to mixers while in motion.
Duff-Norton has traditionally served the markets where it supplies its general purpose joints, such as the rubber and plastics industries, and in the textile market it supplies its 8000T, a joint designed especially for the textile industry. The single largest user industry of rotating joints worldwide is the pulp and paper industry, which requires large quantities of joints for steam, water and hot oil. The steam applications (i.e., dryer cans) are most prevalent in paper mills.
|
|
Rotary Unions are self-contained and self-supporting rotary seals used to transfer fluids such as steam, water air or oil, to and from rotating machinery.
Standard units are of steel and iron construction with specials available in, for example, stainless steel and nickel alloys for chemically aggresive fluids or food quality applications.

MID has developed a new variable geometry coupling, which can swivel through 360 degrees: the DynaVariacor®. This internationally patented system provides in particular complete flexibility for use with all types of pneumatic tools and appliances.
The coupling is robust, light and compact; it reduces wear and avoids coiling of the feed hose. This coupling enables increased precision of movement of the tool by reducing the handling force required by the user, due to the relative rigidity of the feed pipes. Operator comfort is improved. The DynaVariacor® products have useful features: the interior cross-section of the coupling remains constant at all angles, so pressure loss is minimised and flow rates are naturally optimum.
The system is available in several sizes and fittings for a variety of uses: small industrial hand tools such as impact wrenches, grinders, drills, screw guns and riveting machines as well as equipment of larger size and power such as nail guns, staplers, disc sanders, pneumatic drills, compacting machines and special equipment.
