Description

Description
The PMX-L2 Series comprises high-precision, high-rigidity mechanical 2-point straight-side presses with link-motion, designed for progressive-die stamping. The tie-rod frame with wide-spaced connections and long slide guides combined with forged eccentric shafts and minimized bearing clearances reduces vibration and noise, maintains long-term accuracy and supports heavy progressive dies. The center-drive link-motion limits torsional wind-up of eccentric shafts and increases dwell time in the forming zone to improve material flow and part quality.

Key features
  • Mechanical 2-point straight-side construction with link-motion for progressive-die operations
  • Highly rigid tie-rod frame with wide spacing and long slide guides for low deflection
  • Forged eccentric shafts with center drive to limit torsional wind-up
  • Bearings with minimal clearances to reduce noise and preserve accuracy
  • Dynamic balancing of slide and upper die to support high-speed operation
  • Capacity variants to withstand off-center loads and heavy stamping

Technical specifications
  • Press type: Mechanical 2-point straight-side presses with link-motion for progressive dies
  • Frame: High-rigidity tie-rod frame, symmetrical front-to-back and left-to-right to maintain dynamic accuracy
  • Shafts: Forged eccentric shafts, center drive, dynamic balancing of slide/upper die
  • Bearings: Engineered with minimal overall clearances to improve long-term precision and reduce noise
  • Productivity: Link-motion increases dwell in forming zone to maximize material flow and part quality, enabling higher operational speeds
  • Capacity range: Standard 2000–6000 kN, series available up to 16000 kN
  • Die handling: Slide and bolster dimensions sized per model to support large progressive dies; consult model variant data for exact dimensions
