greenVAC "Energy-saving system"
The largest energy consumers in PVC extrusion are the extruder drive and the vacuum pumps of the calibration table. The greenVAC system can reduce energy consumption by up to 80% depending on the profile type. greenVAC is applied at the calibration table: each vacuum zone consists of a water/air separation tank with frequency-controlled vacuum and water pumps. Required vacuum values are set via a simple touch control panel. For water calibration tanks, a side-channel blower is used instead of a vacuum pump to extract a significantly higher volume.
