Description

Product summary
Adsorption dryer DRYBERG® AD210

Operating principle
Once the regeneration process of a vessel is completed, pressure build-up in the vessel is initiated by closing the purge valves. After the service pressure is reached, the air flow is switched from the adsorption vessel to the freshly regenerated vessel. Adsorption then begins in the freshly regenerated vessel while the other vessel enters its regeneration cycle.

Detailed description
  • DRYBERG adsorption dryers (AD series) are designed for continuous removal of water vapour from compressed air to reduce the pressure dew point.
  • Twin-tower construction with adsorbent beds, switching valve system and display control.
  • Regeneration of the adsorbent is performed using a portion of dried compressed air (purge method) after depressurization.
  • Associated filtration options: inlet superfine filter 0.01 µm and outlet dust filter 1 µm (depending on configuration).

Operational notes
  • Device is designed to operate without a notable pressure drop at the outlet during tower switching.
  • Regeneration is carried out at ambient pressure (partial) using a fraction of already dried compressed air.
