Product informationDRYBERG® AD1200 adsorption dryers are designed for continuous removal of water vapor from compressed air to lower the pressure dew point. The AD-Series unit comprises two adsorption towers with triple beds, an LCD controller, valves and gauges for switching and monitoring, a support frame and appropriate filter housings with the required filter elements. Adsorption occurs under pressure in one column while the other column is regenerated at ambient pressure using a portion of already dried compressed air.
Operation / RegenerationWhen the adsorption column reaches a defined saturation level, the system switches columns and adsorption proceeds in the second tower without pressure drop at the dryer outlet. Regeneration is achieved by decompressing a small portion of the dried compressed air: expansion makes this purge extremely dry and it is used to regenerate the desiccant bed.
