The Fumevac welding fume extractor is a compact, mobile industrial vacuum cleaner suitable for transport to work areas where welding operations are carried out. Designed for extracting fumes and gases given off during mig-mag welding directly at the source. In a machine shop or a carpentry shop, the presence of a device that allows welding fumes to be sucked out provides significant benefits to the health of the operators as well as, in the long run, to improved production efficiency. In fact, Fumevac allows localized vacuuming directly into the processing site while protecting the welder’s health. This vacuum cleaner is equipped with an automatic start/stop device that allows the machine to be turned on and off without the welder having to take any action except to use the welding flashlight. There is a secondary function that allows a hose to be attached to the vacuum cleaner and perform minor cleaning of the working air. The suction is developed by one or two carbon brush by-pass motors, operated by independent switches and placed in a solid metal head, soundproofed with sound-absorbing material. The Fumevac vacuum cleaner is equipped with a non-sparking pre-filter and a cartridge filter with a surface area of ​​7,500 cm². It is possible to clean the filter using the Dustop integrated counter-current air cleaning system: by closing the suction nozzle and opening the flap on the filter chamber, the air flow from the motors passes through the filter, cleaning it effectively and safe, and preventing the dispersion of dust into the environment.
