Short description
Resin-cast straight joint ELCOSTOP GLBA designed for railway power cables RG5ONR/8. Kit for in-line connection of 3-core XLPE cables; suitable for armoured cables. Declared use up to 3 kV (see technical data for listed rated voltage). Connectors are not included; use of crimp connectors approved by Ferrovie dello Stato (Italian National Railways) is recommended.

Application and electrical data
Intended for railway traction and power distribution systems. Compatible with RG5ONR/8 cable types, 3-core (tripolar) XLPE insulation. Armoured cable continuity is provided via the included yellow/green conductor. Note: product documentation references both an application limit of up to 3 kV and a tabulated rated voltage of 1.2 kV; follow project specifications and local regulations.

Compliance and installation notes
Compliant with Omologazione F.S. N° 11096 30.5.1986 cat.807/401-2. Connectors are not supplied; use crimp-type connectors homologated by Ferrovie dello Stato where required. Ensure correct positioning of separators and complete resin filling per installation instructions to guarantee electrical clearance and mechanical protection.
