ECOLD STEI is the Elcon Megarad range of push-on terminations designed for indoor connections of polymeric insulated medium-voltage cables up to 24 kV. The product is engineered for straightforward on-site assembly without heating, special tools or carrier tube removal, enabling consistent and repeatable installations. Electrical field stress control is provided by Elcon Megarad's specially formulated high-permittivity tape. The insulator is a one-piece molded anti-tracking silicone rubber offering stable dielectric properties.
