ECOLD VTS is part of the Elcon Megarad range of premolded pre-expanded cold-shrinkable terminations for indoor and outdoor connections of polymeric insulated cables up to 36 kV. Installation requires no flame and is performed by pulling the spiral. Electrical field stress control is provided by a high-permittivity pad that is easy to fit. The insulator is a one-piece molded anti-tracking silicone rubber.
