Description The motorized film applicator COATMASTER 510 Basic-G is a compact testing instrument with a membrane keyboard. With appropriate accessories it can be used as a high-precision film applicator. The microprocessor-controlled step motor drive ensures precise and uniform draw-downs and repeatable results.

Purpose and application
The device is used when an absolutely uniform film thickness across a surface is required, when reliable information on the wet-to-dry film thickness relationship is needed, or when a large number of identical samples must be produced. The automatic draw-down method avoids inaccuracies of manual application. Typical users include the coatings and paint industry (R&D and quality control), universities and research institutes (e.g. photovoltaic, fuel cell and battery research) and medical technology research.
