The BAKER APPLICATOR 286 is a manual film applicator based on the Baker principle for applying uniform coatings and determining coating thickness. It is corrosion-resistant and available in multiple film widths and selectable gap heights.


Detailed description
Doctor blade principle: the four gap heights result from differently ground zero-levels of the support blocks at the ends; the height difference to the central cylinder (acting as the applicator edge) determines the resulting gap height.
Standard gap heights available: 30, 60, 90 and 120 µm.
Film width options: three widths 60, 75, 100 mm.
Construction is corrosion-resistant, suitable for laboratory and production sampling.
