Description

Description
BETE MicroWhirl® (MW) series nozzles provide fine misting and fogging through a pinless whirl (vortex) design for drip-free operation and consistent atomization. Supplied standard with a 70-micron polypropylene filter; 200-mesh 316 stainless steel filter optional. Minimum operating pressure: 100 PSI (7 BAR).

How it works
The nozzle converts fluid pressure into kinetic energy in a swirl chamber. Centrifugal forces break the liquid into very fine droplets; at lower pressures the device produces a fine mist, at higher pressures it produces fog. The whirl design improves reliability compared with impingement and air-atomizing types.

Applications
  • Humidification
  • Surface moistening
  • Process cooling
  • Dust suppression
  • Odor control
  • NOx removal / flue gas treatment
  • Evaporation and evaporative cooling

Advantages
  • Consistent fine atomization across pressure ranges
  • Durable, pinless construction for reduced clogging
  • Drip-free performance
  • Standard 70 µm polypropylene filter; optional 200‑mesh 316 SS filter for harsher fluids
  • Safety wire hole for securing the nozzle

Materials
316 Stainless Steel (body and wetted parts for MW series).

Dimensions & Performance (1/8 NPT models)
Models: P6094622 | P6109975 | P6149734
Inlet connection: 1/8 NPT (all listed models)

K Factor (GPM): P6094622 = 0.00085; P6109975 = 0.00275; P6149734 = 0.00693

Flow rate examples for P6094622 — GPM: 100 PSI = 0.009; 300 PSI = 0.015; 600 PSI = 0.021; 1000 PSI = 0.027; 1500 PSI = 0.033; 2000 PSI = 0.038; 2500 PSI = 0.043; 3000 PSI = 0.047

Flow rate examples for P6094622 — LPM: 7 BAR = 0.032; 20 BAR = 0.055; 40 BAR = 0.077; 70 BAR = 0.102; 100 BAR = 0.122; 140 BAR = 0.145; 170 BAR = 0.160; 200 BAR = 0.173

Weight: P6094622 ≈ 0.025 oz (≈ 7.09 g).

Notes
Delivered spray pattern and droplet suspension depend on operating pressure: lower pressures favor fine mist (longer airborne residence), higher pressures generate denser fog. Particle behavior will vary with ambient airflow.
