CONTROL UNIT TPU-C1
TPU-C1 is an Industry 4.0 control unit designed to manage electric brushless eTensil screwdrivers and nutrunner motors with torque/angle control. Torque is inferred from motor current and angle from integrated Hall sensors, enabling precise, connected tightening processes.

Main capabilities

• In-process torque and angle adjustment via the unit panel
• Process anomaly detection (e.g. stripped threads or pre-tightened screws) through tightening-time and parameter checks
• Interfaces with external equipment (PLC, jigs, accessory selectors, screw-vacuum systems) for automated pick-and-place workflows
• Remote management and status visualization
• Phase and system status communication with remote control options

SMART FUNCTIONS

• SMART THREAD: handles self-threading, self-tapping and self-drilling screws or cases where final torque is lower than thread-forming torque
• SMART SPEED: two-phase tightening strategy — high speed until set angle, then predefined speed for accuracy
• S.R.O. (Smart Range Optimizer): analyzes set torque and suggests an optimal final speed range per screwdriver model to prevent over-torque and improve cycle reliability

PROGRAMMING - SMART PRO EVO
Additional configurable functions and advanced setup are available via the SMART PRO EVO software tool.
