Description

TPU-M1 MONITORING UNIT
The TPU-M1 monitoring unit monitors and manages the functions of combined fastening tools. Designed for use with eTensil brushless electric screwdrivers and nutrunner motors with mechanical clutch and automatic shut-off, it supplies the tools and provides programmable process control and data communication features for industrial assembly lines.

BASIC FUNCTIONS
  • Automatic recognition of the connected tool and immediate configuration to its parameters to prevent setup errors
  • Displays: OK/NOK result, tightening time and angle values
  • Screw counting for Poka Yoke verification
  • Detection of process anomalies (e.g., stripped threads, already tightened screws)
  • Storage capacity for up to 99 tightening operations
  • Interfaces with PLCs and other line devices; remote management possible
  • Manages critical joints (e.g., flexible gaskets, rubber components)

PRE-SELF UNTIGHTENING / POST-SELF UNTIGHTENING / STOP-BY-TIME

Post-self untightening: set untightening angle and pause before reverse rotation after tightening. Stop-by-time tightening: control cycle by set tightening time to fasten to a defined depth rather than a defined torque.
