Overview
This locating clamping fastener is used with CP745 locating receivers. Together they are designed for mounting on fixture bases and plates to provide accurate locating and positioning. The retractable pin allows the fastener to slide onto or off the base/plate without interference: the center shaft retracts to lie flat beneath the plate, preventing protrusion from the underside and enabling positioning and clamping after the unit is slid into place.

Operation
Rotate the knob a quarter turn to expand the balls on the pin and lock the fixture in place. The locator remains locked until the knob is returned to "OFF", at which point the balls retract into the shank and the shank can be raised clear of the base plate for interference-free, tool-free removal.
