Overview
These locator pins are used with Flex CP725 receivers. With a larger flanged shape than the standard CP720 pins, the need for precise depth of the mounting holes is eliminated, allowing for easier installation. The pin and receiver are designed to be mounted on fixture bases and plates for accurate locating and positioning with precise 0.01 mm repeatability when moving to a new machine or different operation. The locator pin engages with the corresponding bushings by screwing down a single clamping screw through the pin and bushing; this action retracts the spring-loaded receiver bushing allowing the fixture plate to contact the base plate. Made from nitrocarburized treated 4140 alloy steel.
