Description

Overview
Magnetostrictive, contactless linear position transducer using GEFRAN ONDA technology. Designed for installation fully inside oil-pressure/hydraulic cylinders with a flanged rod (AISI 316). Contactless cursor eliminates mechanical wear and ensures long service life. Available with analog outputs in direct or inverse configurations.

Performance and environments
Operating temperature: -40 °C to +105 °C. Working pressures up to 350 bar. High resistance to vibration (25 g, DIN IEC68T2/6) and shock (100 g), suitable for heavy-duty and mobile hydraulic applications. Excellent linearity, low hysteresis and good repeatability ensure reliable position feedback.

Technology and mechanical design
GEFRAN ONDA magnetostrictive technology provides a compact, modular structure and a contactless cursor to eliminate wear. Flanged rod design allows full installation within oil-pressure cylinders and supports multiple cursor configurations to match cylinder manufacturer specifications.

Electrical and power
Current output models: recommended supply 10 VDC … 32 VDC. Voltage output models: recommended supply 8 VDC … 32 VDC. Output polarity and wiring depend on model reference.
