The Hardinge Sure-Grip® Expanding Collet System is designed for internal gripping of larger-diameter bores. The Sure-Grip system delivers a wider gripping range and increased gripping force through true parallel closing. The #600 Series expanding collet covers bores from 3" (76.2 mm) to 4.015" (101.98 mm). Collets are available in 1/64" increments within the stated range. Each collet accommodates workpiece bore tolerances from -0.001" (0.0254 mm) to +0.015" (0.38 mm).
