Regulating silencer HLN 40 series

For operating of natural gas reducing stations, standards and approvals demanding certain noise level have to be obeyed. To fulfil these requirements, HEATenergy fits gas pressure regulators with an efficient noise reduction system. The same noise reduction system could be used as an additional device for gas regulators without noise reduction measures. In this case, we use the silencer HLN 40, a part of the piping system built in downstream of the regulator. At the silencer HLN 40 the noise will be reduced nearest to the point of emission. That means that a low sound level can be guaranteed. This diagram shows the noise reduction by the silencer HLN 40 depending to sound level of the unabsorbed regulator.
